Robotics is an engineering branch involving conception, design, and manufacturing. It is a field that overlaps with electronics, computers, science, artificial intelligence, and bio-engineering. These technologies include artificial muscles, elastic cables, artificial brains, fast-moving robots, artificial noses, or tactile finger devices and have the potential to bring artificial devices one step closer to living organisms and humans.

Let's move on to the advantages:

  • First, robots and machines have the ability to work around the clock since they do not require breaks
  • This allows the increase of production and profit margin because of faster completion time.
  • Thirdly, Robots make fewer mistakes than humans, and it saves companies time,
  • Fourth, its flexibility increased with being capable of performing a variety of tasks and applications
  • Fifth and lastly, Robots are more precise and consistent than human workers.

After understanding the advantages, let's now move on to its disadvantages:

  • Human Dependency
  • Lack of emotion

Robots may help make work easier and provide consumption of less human energy, but we should never forget that robots come with their share of limitations.
